To Ell, PJ, John, all her family and friends and of course, to Maureen...
I do not have the words to adequately express what a truly remarkable person Rose was and what a massively significant and positive impact she had on my life. She was my guardian angel when I needed one. I was treated like one of her own and I will be forever grateful to her and to you all for that.
Rose taught me so much - she taught me love, tolerance, empathy, understanding, forgiveness and kindness. She also taught me to embrace my inner rogue and to enjoy life. In fact, I think she (and Paddy) taught me to get older but to never grow up!
Inevitably, her loss brings a profound sadness. That said, the joy of having Rose in my life and the magical memories I have of her will always outweigh it.
It was an immense honour and an absolute privilege to have known Rose and to have been so lucky to have her in my life.
Thank you Rose, for your unending generosity and kindness, for all you did for me and for having such a major hand in shaping me to become the person I am today. You will be forever tattooed on my heart. I can only hope you knew how much I loved you and how much you meant to me xx
