Aunty Rose was a huge part of my life growing up. Christmas was always a visit to see Joan, Rose and Mary. As a kid it was lemonade, cakes, biscuts and loads of presents from all three who are now together in heaven enjoying their well deserved rewards.
Every time I'd visit Rose, I was always made special and Rose made the best home made chips (it's the silly things I remember). Not forgetting her delicious Christmas puddings.
God bless you Aunty Rose. May you rest in peace. Colm x

Shocked and saddened of this terrible news I received in London. I had only just phoned my mother the day before to check on Rose in hospital. I am happy for Rose as a devote Catholic that she is reunited with her sisters, parents and my Grandad Joe and Nanny Nora. Christmas will not be the same without her spending it with our family. We always had our long chats on the way home after Christmas reminiscing on her fond memories with her sisters and my grandparents. The end of an era. Thank you for all your prayers for me and my son Cadan over the years.
