Heartfelt condolences to Jim, Paul, Mary and Lucy on the passing of your mother Rose. She was one of the last of her generation on Greentrees Road and she kept in touch with my own Mom and Dad where they regularly went to Sunday mass together. Sadly, the routine was broken when Rose and my own Mom went into nursing homes. She was a great lady and will always be remembered by the Mahon clan.

To my brother-in-law, Jim, Paul, Mary, Lucy, all of the grandchildren and great grandchildren - I was so sorry to learn of Rose’s passing. What a lady, what a character. I have so very many wonderful memories of her, both on Greentrees Road, where she welcomed us with open arms, and at Tina and Jim’s down through the years. The fun gatherings, the music and laughter are what I remember most. She was such a bright and interesting lady and I always enjoyed having a chat with her.

Rest easy Rose, your work here is done now. You will never be forgotten.

My condolences and deepest sympathy to my beloved brother-in-law Jim, and to Paul, Mary, Lucy and all the family. Rose was a very smart, accomplished and unassuming lady. Some of my fondest memories of her are in the kitchen on Greentrees road, clutching the radiator and regaling us with stories of her youth (there were many). She doled out advise on life ( typing courses, men, good jobs etc.) and we hung on her every word!! She would cackle with laughter at some of our misadventures! (there were many) Our families spent many happy nights singing and laughing. I think there will be a great hooley in heaven with Rose's arrival. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten...
Rest in peace dear Rose and thank you for all your love and warmth. Forever in my heart.
