Rose Mary O'Reilly
(née Reilly)

It was with great sadness that I learned of the death of Rosemary. In 1972 there were nine of us, first years in St. Pat's who were in digs directly across the road from the college in 38 Upper Drumcondra Rd. We had a wonderful year and such great fun that I still remember with great fondness. Rosemary was a lovely lady who always had a calming influence on us young lads up from the country for the first time. I offer my sincere sympathy to Oliver and all the family who miss her greatly.I measc na naingeal is na naomh go raibh Rosemary.

My sincere condolences to the family of Rose Mary. She was such a friendly lady. Got to know Rose Mary many years ago through community games. Many times I would get asked "ah you are involved in community games". Yes but its probably the other Rose Mary you mean. I was only reminiscing with her a few weeks ago. We were very shocked and saddened last Thursday morning to hear the news about Rose Mary’s sudden passing. We all have very fond memories of her, she was a wonderful lady, very kind, full of life and good humour, who accomplished many great things for the good of others, especially children. Sincere condolences to Oliver, Noel, Teresa, Damien, Joan, Annemarie, Finbar, Grainne, Olivia, Seamus, Denise, Liam, all her wonderful grandchildren who adored her and of whom she was very proud. Sincere sympathy also to her sister Kathy, Seán , David and Rachel. Rose Mary will be greatly missed.
