I’m very sad to hear of the passing of my Aunt Rosie. I have so many lovely memories of her when I was a child whilst visiting every week with Mam after Eileen’s. Cups of tea in the kitchen with Jerry and the dog Topsie. I was always fascinated by the way she worked from home with materials with her sewing machine and her talent for clothes alterations. I used to try to copy her and make clothes for the cat with the scraps and off-cuts. In the last few years taking mam to visit her whilst doing violin lessons in Deerpark. My last memory was her visiting mum in Marymount last year. It’s very sad how that they are all gone and are deeply missed everyday. My deepest sympathy to all my cousins and aunts. Dáithí
