Thank you for your wonderful warmth of hospitality & welcome, Rose, when we visited with you, Bella, & Mary, over twenty years ago. It was great to hear the history of how your grandfather, Michael O'Donnell of Altnagapple [the first cousin of Fr Charles Leo O'Donnell, President of the University of Notre Dame, Indiana], was the first National Teacher on Inishbofin Island; and, how your mother, Cassie, returned to his birthplace, to give birth to you, at Altnagapple, on 11th February, 1928.

Sorry to hear of rose Manny years a go thinking of you all Noel Doherty Seamus Doherty orchard grove ballyraine letterkenny and kiullt falcarragh my was the hairdresser she passed away on January 2017
