I was so sorry to read of “Granny Rose’s” death in the paper only today & would gone to her funeral if I had known sooner.
Rose was such a lovely lady & was so kind to me back in 1999 when we moved to Ireland. She was the first mum that spoke to me in the playground as we collected our girls from school - Gemma & Naoise were in the same class & so were Amy & Aoibhe. I have nothing but happy memories of my chats with her over the years. Such a lovely lovely lady. May she rest in peace.
