I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Rose's passing, so soon after my own Mam Nuala as she and Rose were the best of friends growing up beside each other in Carrigtwohill, right up until their later years in Dublin. Rose and Pat used to meet with my Mam Nuala and my Dad Michael so frequently especially at Christmas time - I remember it so well even though I was very young. I only spoke to Rose recently enough on the phone as she rang me to see how my Mam was doing.
May she now Rest in Eternal Peace, reunited with her beloved Pat.
