We met a couple of times at Alexander Technique meetings and her warmth and shining continues in my memory so brightly. My condolences to her family.

I’m so sorry to hear of Rosemary’s passing. I attended her Alexander technique classes for years and greatly enjoyed Rosemary’s quick witted sense of humour, wisdom and kind nature. She was a fountain of knowledge and had a beautiful gentle presence. It was always a pleasure to be in her company. RIP Rosemary

I remember Rosemary from my childhood as a very kind and gentle woman. Both of my parents adored her and were devastated to hear of her passing. My late grandfather Pat, who was a client of hers, spoke incredibly highly of her. To be thought of so very fondly by three generations of one family can only begin to hint at what a special woman Rosemary was. My deepest condolences to James and the Moone family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam uasal.

Last year, when I told Rosemary that my mother had died, she expressed her sympathy before noting that this would be a big change for my family.
Little did I know that her own family would now have to face such a change.
What can you say to someone who has lost a loved one, only that I, too, am grieving with you in my own way.
And the sadness that you as her family don’t get to spend any more time with her must be so overwhelming.
All I can say is that Rosemary, for the time she was here, made the most out of life and her talent.
As her pupil for the last twenty-five years I can testify to that talent as can so many others who passed through her hands.
And throughout it all there developed a mutual trust and respect between us and love for the work and each other. It was never spoken aloud but I trust she felt it and understood it in some other way.
And, now, dear teacher, I come to my final goodbye words that I never got to say to you in person.
Thank you for all the years you spent by my side traversing this most difficult of paths, for never giving up on me, for being my cheerleader when others doubted me, including myself, and for giving me the fortitude and resilience to continue this work without you.
I will never ever forget you.
Your healing touch will be with me always and forever.

So sorry for your loss. I attended two semesters with Rosemary at Ashton School and also attended private sessions with Rosemary. I suffer from dystonia in my neck and I feel so much better since my sessions with her. I learned so much from her and am so grateful to her for all her help. May she rest in peace.

Rosemary gave some amazing workshops when I worked in Triskel and Firkin Crane. Individual sessions at her home left me with a great toolkit to look after myself, physically and emotionally. She could tell just by look and touch if a body needed a gentle tweak here or a firm pressure there. I find myself sitting better even as I think about her.

She had a wonderful approach and I always left her company feeling somehow better 💐

Jim and I had a lovely weekend with our sister Rosemary over the early May Bank Holiday weekend. She was on excellent form and cracking jokes. It will be a treasured memory.

‘Rosie’ was part of our contemporary dance community in the 80’s in Belfast. She was a beautiful dancer, fabulous fun and such a wit. Clever, kind and always creative.
I am so sorry she has gone from this world but thankful she continued to bloom and spread her joy with so many people.
