I came to know and admire Rosemary when she was serving in the Department of Transport. She was extremely able coordinating the preparation of briefs for her Minister attending the EU Council of Transport Ministers. She had a demanding job getting briefing material from several Departments against tough deadlines. Rosemary carried out her job with great skill, patience and charm and won the respect admiration and affection of all those privileged to work for and with her.
