I am devastated to hear of the death of Ms O Regan. She was an amazing teacher, so kind and a huge inspiration in my life at an early age. I was so glad to meet her numerous times recently. What a beautiful lady in every way. X

I am a woman in my mid twenties now and thinking back to my primary school years, Ms. O’ Regan always pops into my mind. She was the teacher one remembers for her genuine kindness, respect, care and love of teaching. Rest in peace at home with God, beautiful soul.

My sincere condolences on the untimely death of Rose. She taught my two children and she is fondly remembered by all of us for her kindness and her caring nature. Meeting Ms O'Regan years later, she always asked for them by their names. May she rest in peace.

Even though it was many years ago, I will always remember Ms O’Regan for her kindness to all the students. Anytime you would pass her she would always smile and say hello in the corridors. My condolences to all her family. She was a great teacher.

The many tributes to be read here give some idea of the wonderful person Róisín was, so I can add little to them. I just want to say how fortunate I was to know Róisín as a friend and as a work colleague. If we can leave this world a better place, we have lived a good life. Róisín surely did that for everyone she knew. Liam, Mary, Cillian, Emily and Aidan, I express my sincere sympathies to you. And thank you for the beautiful mass you organised for Róisín's farewell.

I would like to extend my sincere sympathies to Roisin's family and friends. Having been speaking with Roisin on Monday morning, I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of her sudden passing later that afternoon. I had the pleasure of having Roisin as my tutor for my extended school placement and enjoyed working with her over the last few weeks. Roisin was so kind to me throughout this time, always forthcoming with feedback and guidance. She had this wonderful ability to always motivate improvement. I am grateful to have had the chance to work with her and will remember her fondly.
I am thinking of all her friends and family at this difficult time.
