Sincere sympathy to all of Ross' family on your great loss. No words can express my shock & absolute sorrow on hearing the tragic news of his passing. You don't need me to tell you what a very special boy Ross was. He had the same openness, joy & generosity of spirit that I've seen in all of you, going back many years to Loreto days.
If he was passing the office he would peep round the door & wave - in case I was sad on my own. Then later, every time that I came back to visit the school I got that welcoming smile & one of Ross' big hugs - it was a privilege.
I know that your hearts are broken but you can be sure that Ross is safe & happy with Teresa. He will never be forgotten by anyone who met him & even though his life was short it made a difference.
May you find comfort in your many beautiful memories & may Ross rest in peace.

I was devastated at the terrible news of Ross' passing. Ross was the kindest and the friendliest kid I ever met. It was always such a pleasure to be in his company with his great personality- he was always chatting, singing and lifting everyone's spirits around him. He was such a lovely friend to everyone in the Good Shepherd School and he had such a heart of gold. I will really miss his beautiful smile around Ballybunion and school. I was so deeply saddened to hear the news that Ross had passed away. It was an absolute privilege to teach Ross the cello this year in school. On those dark winter mornings, Ross had the ability to light up the room whenever he entered with his beautiful smile. He always wanted to help, always said thank you at the end of each and every lesson. He truly was one of a kind. I’ll miss hearing his lovely singing and seeing the excitement in his face when we started a new song.

Our condolences to all of Ross' family - we were shocked and deeply saddened to hear the tragic news of his passing. We have very fond memories of Ross in our club. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

We only knew Ross from when I’d bring my elderly Mum to mass on sundays and his warm smile was so welcoming. We remembered him from when he made his first Communion and I remember how he was always so cheerful and would come across to shake hands at sign of peace. Heartbreaking for family and friends but how wonderful to have had a child who could spread such joy. Christmas mass was made even more special with the big smile and greeting from Ross. My mother rang me in Kerry to tell me about Fr Brian praying for him and yourselves. We were so sorry. We will keep you in our prayers.

Alex and myself are so sadden to hear of Ross. Alex had the pleasure of been in school with Ross and he was so fond of him. He always had a smile on his face and was an absolute pleasure to be around,Alex has great memories of his time in school with Ross and the laughter he brought.
