O, I am so sorry to hear this. I only heard of Ruben’s passing today. My memories of Ruben were of a real ‘gentle’ man who clearly loved his children Lucy and Zach( whom I taught). Sincere sympathies to you all at this devastating time and know that we are all thinking of you.

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that you’re gone. It feels unreal. Even though we lived in different countries, we had so much fun growing up and spending time together when we were young cousins hanging out. We laughed a lot! And you had the O’Keeffe twinkle in your eyes when you smiled, just like Nan.
The funeral today was beautiful. I wish I could’ve been there in person, but hearing how many people showed up, how they spoke about you, it was deeply touching. Love you Ruben ❤️ May you rest in peace xx

I met Ruben back in the mid 90s when i worked with Noella and Terry, i would always look forward to meeting him at company outings and always had great crack with him. After that i would meet him when he was installing windows when I was laying blocks. He would always come over and chat. Sound man he was. Rest in peace
