wishing you peace and love during these sad days. Uncle Ruby was so loved by my mother (Patti) and father (Jim) and often shared lovely stories from the early days in Ireland when they were still with us-Uncle Ruby was the very best and I am so glad that I came for a visit several years ago and had a great few days of food, cheer and lively conversation with him, Marion and Mary! Uncle Ruby sent me a Christmas Card every year and always with current updates! I will miss his sweet Christmas notes-he was a joy. I know he will be greatly missed by all of his family. Ger, Dave and Mary ,my deepest condolences. Uncle Ruby was dearly loved and will be missed. I always remember him happy and smiling. I have lovely memories of lots of laughter and being together with him, his wife , Auntie May and Auntie Tessie and cousins on brief visits with mom (Patty). Wonderful to witness his love of Rugby at a very important game that was won, with my girls and cousins. We were all blessed to have Uncle Ruby for all that time we did; as others left too soon. Bittersweet. My Mom would say “chin up” and “never look back”. They are all together now and never have to say goodbye. xoxo

Dear Uncle Ruby, so sad you have now left us and so soon after your last birthday. You were the last of my mother's brothers and sisters and my Grandmother's youngest. Such good memories of Saturday gatherings in my Granny's with uncles and cousins before us then youngsters heading off to the flics. Condolances to Gerard, David, Mary and their families.
