Sending our sincere condolences to the Browne Family & Peter on the passing of your beloved Russ.
We were so saddened on hearing the news and unfortunately couldn’t be with you all as we were away at that time, but you remain in our thoughts & Prayers.
I had the pleasure of working with Russ for many years in the BOC. Russ was a kind, articulate & caring SLT & her guitar or keyboard was never far away, we often enjoyed many “un pronto”music sessions & Russ was always on hand to finish off an occasion with a wonderful sing song.
It was her generous time & love of music that brought her to Cahirciveen to become director of the gospel choir. Journeys were no barrier for Russ when it came to music.
Farewell Russ, a treasured friend, work colleague & musician, thanks for the wonderful memories, you are with the eternal choir now. May your gentle soul rest in peace forever.🙏

I had the pleasure of being in a gospel choir that Russ taught& conducted for a number of years. Boy did we have some great times& laughs with Russ while practicing & doing concerts &all thanks to a great patient teacher which Russ had been keeping us in tune. May Russ rest in peace.

So sorry to learn of Russ’s sad and untimely passing. A most talented and humorous lady that was an inspiration to many in the community. I had the good fortune to have served with her in the Cathedral choir and the KIllarney musical society and she was a good and diligent colleague.

My first encounter with Russ was at No. 7 Countess Grove known as the ( pink school) back then.
We were always greeted with warmth and friendship from the great multidisciplinary team there.
Russ would later become my tutor in the Lamh programme.
