My sincere condolences to Chris, Isla, Daisy, Evie and the extended family of Ruth Anne. I had the pleasure of working with Ruth Anne in Ballymun many years ago and she was such a special person. I will always remember her sheer goodness as a person, her kindness and warmth. Her family were the centre of her world and she adored her three beautiful girls. I am so sorry for your loss, you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

I have only become aware of Ruth-Anne’s passing. I was so, so sorry to hear about it. We met several years ago in SVPH and stayed in touch. She was a wonderful person, so positive and optimistic and full of life. I always loved getting her messages. I want to express my sincere condolences to her family.

I am so very sorry to hear of Ruth Anne’s death. We met through greystones cancer support where she was instantly likeable, warm and empathetic to others even as she went through her own treatment. I always loved speaking with her. She adored her daughters who sound like truly special young women. It is so unfair that she has been taken from them far too soon by this horrible illness. I only knew Ruth Anne a little and I feel her loss, so I know it is immeasurable for her family. Heartbroken for you all. Fiona

I am so deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Ruthanne. I wish to pass on my sincere condolences to her family. I was lucky enough to work alongside her as a fellow social worker in Enable Ireland. She was a gentle soul but left no stone unturned when it came to advocating for the families she worked with. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Ruth-Anne in Sandymount. She was a true lady. We kept in touch intermittently in the years that followed. I am deeply sorry for your loss Chris. And to Isla, Daisy and Evie - your mum was always so proud of the three of you.

I am so very sad to hear about the passing of beautiful Ruth Anne. I was lucky enough to work with her for my first social work job in Ballymun and I often think of some of the wise words she had for me in those early days. She was such a kind, gorgeous, compassionate person, I remember she was always talking about her three little girls and wonderful husband. Sending you all so much love.
