Ruth KELSO

Glory to God for the life of Ruth. I will always remember how kind she was to me when I first came to Carlow. May God bless and keep all that she left behind.

Like probably everyone else, we are affected by Ruth's fate and the fate of the family over the past years and now the last few months before her death. We miss our friend who, as always, bravely went her own way without complaining too much.
If I say now that we are looking forward to seeing her again one day in heaven, i suppose she will clap her hands in Heaven and say: "Oh yes! I'm looking forward to it."
And that's what we'll do until then and our thoughts are with her two sons and their families, her sisters and relatives.

We have great memories of meeting Edwin and Ruth on their farm in Carlow in the early nineties. We are very grateful for their help and advice in our early years in Charollais.

So very sorry to hear that Ruth had passed away, having faced her illness with such courage. I have many fond memories of her teaching German to the children in the Gaelscoil, where her fame for making delicious wafflein went before her!
