I was very sad to hear about Ruth’s death. She had so many interests, particularly in history and genealogy, and was such a vibrant person, it’s hard to believe she is gone. My Condolences to her family.

I am so sorry to hear this, I remember Joe and Ruth when they came home from Australia and I looked after settling Diane into school. Ruth was always so very kind to me and I spent many happy hours with Diane in the house in Main Street in Howth. Fly to the Angels lovely Ruth x

In the early 1990's Ruth had a vision to form a ladies football club for our parish. Ruth was elected as our first Chairperson in 1992. We will be forever grateful to Ruth for her integral role in setting up the club.
