Only learned of Ruth’s passing tonight.. Ruth and Alan and Ruth’s mother were such good friends of my mother Kathleen Allen and we remember Ruth with such fondness. She was such a kind woman and a very frequent visitor to my mother. Genuinely saddened by this news. May she Rest In Peace and I have no doubt that she will be eternally rewarded in heaven for all her generosity and goodness.

Is is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our old friend ruth. We spent many an enjoyable evening in our local community hall in the comany of herself and her late husband alan. Our condolences to all the family. May she rest in peace

Ruthie, yours was the first house I visited as an adult that felt like home. The times I spent with you and my babies were the most precious - we look back with the happiest memories and I’m so happy they got the chance to make childhood memories with you too. You will have touched more hearts than you realised I’m sure.

We will forever remember all getting ready for bed and been called down from upstairs by Ruthie to eat ice cream and sprinkles at the kitchen table because it was Ruthie Rules!

Dylan also remembers chatting football with Ruthie who hated Chelsea! Much to his delight.
