Dear Pacca and Livvy, I am sorry so to hear of the passing of your lovely mum Ruth. She was the most amazing woman and Teddy loved every second of being minded by her. There was so much love in that house and it's obvious both of you have so many of the great qualities your mum had. Thinking of you both at this time and sending big love. I was so sorry to hear Ruth had passed away. I was in school with Ruth and also her neighbour in Finsbury. I live in the UK now and have not seen her for a few years but I have very happy memories spending time playing UNO and hanging out looking for fairies her mum had hidden in the garden as well as practicing our Fame moves in leg warmers. She was such a lovely person always with a big smile. I saw some great photos earlier this year of the big St Mary’s Cup win and it was fantastic to see her so happy and proud. I did not expect her to go so soon. My deepest condolences as I know she will be missed.

I knew Ruth through walking home together from school drop offs and often being in Taney playground when the kids were younger. I am absolutely devasted for Libby and Patrick. Ruth was truly amazing with the kids, and the kids absolutely loved going over to her. We often couldn’t get them out in the evenings. Ruth was so kind and we loved having the chats with her daily at pick up times.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Ruth on the side-lines & at the St Marys dinners after JCT matches. I loved standing beside her watching the boys play rugby. She knew her rugby and filled me in on all the finer details that went over my head. Matches and dinners flew as she was great craic & so fun to be around. We will really miss her.

Dear Ruth. When I loved with mam next door to you in 71, you were always great fun and always up for a laugh. We had some funny conversations together which I remember fondly. Thanks also for rehousing Ziggy the dog. He was a bit of a handful which you welcomed with open arms. Brave woman!
