We were so saddened and shocked to hear the news of Sally’s sudden passing. We send our deepest sympathy to her Brother Jim, all of her nephews and nieces and other members on the Morris and O’Neill families.
We will remember with much love the frequent visits by Sally & Oliver to her sister Maisie & brother - law Eddie here in Castlederg and the smile and laughter they both brought to us and our children when they were smaller. More recently we enjoyed our visits to Listowel after Oliver passed away and there was always a warm embrace and welcome from Sally to see someone from the North of Ireland.
Sally & Oliver made many friends in Listowel and beyond and we are so glad we got to meet some of you over the years, especially her good neighbours. We know you will all miss Sally so much as she radiated warmth and happiness too everyone as she walked through the town each day to mass and to Oliver’s grave.
Our prayer now is that Sally & Oliver are united again in each others arms in the glory of heaven.
God bless you Sally we will always remember you.

Sympathies to the O’Neill and Morris families. Sally and Oliver were close neighbours and friends of ours. In the 1980’s we used to call to welcoming home for Friday night chats. They came, with food gifts to our family events including communions and confirmations. May Sally rest in peace. Go néanta Dia trócaire uirthí

It was with shock and great sadness that we learned of the sudden passing of our lovely neighbour, Sally. Our most sincere condolences to her brother Jim and all her relations.

The place will never be the same again without seeing Sally out tidying up around her home, keeping an eye on all the neighbours homes and always the big smile and wave as we passed by.

So many wonderful memories of times when we had great, and interesting, conversations with Sally. Such a wonderful, wonderful lady.

A true neighbour and friend reunited now with her beloved Oliver.

"Together again, tears have stopped falling
Long lonely nights are now at an end
The key to their hearts, God holds in his hand
Nothing else matters, they're together again"

My condolence to Jim and his family on the passing of Sally. Also, to all of Sally’s nieces and nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Sally was such a lovely person and she and Oliver were so well loved in Listowel. Sometime after the current car registration system was introduced in 1987, I remember Oliver telling my parents and I once that he had gone Sligo to buy a new car, so he could have it registered there. This was so the registration plate would read ‘SO’, not for Sligo, but for ‘Sally and Oliver’. I always remember that, and I thought it showed what a lovely and loving couple they were. May Sally Rest in Peace.

Sincere sympathy to both the Morris and O'Neill families on the untimely and sudden death of their beloved Sally. May she rest well.
I was shocked last Monday, when I was given the news of her demise by a mutual friend, only a short 10 days previous we had enjoyed a long catch up conversation over a cup of tea in the Arms during Writers Week, only last Sunday, I saw her again, passing on her way to the Arms, to have lunch with her friend Kathleen.
Sally and her late husband Oliver, like so many others, having come to work and live in our town, over a short time, through their voluntary assistance with so many associations, became part of the towns fabric, becoming as much Listowel as Listowel people themselves.
We were lucky to have them in our company and as friends. I am sure that they are now in each others embrace in the great beyond.
Sympathies to all Sallys friends and family. RIP
