Such beautiful memories of Sally from my childhood when she was my sub teacher. We both loved the chats with her in later years.Such a lady I know you will miss her so much. We couldn’t attend her funeral as we are away but please know you are in our thoughts at this sad time

She was always such an elegant lady, a fantastic baker, but I will remember her especially for her kindness to Auntie Francie. I am so sorry to hear of your loss of a very special lady. Sally was always so welcoming to meet. She never forgot to ask for “special little friend” ….my daughter whom she looked after during her first two years in junior and senior infants in The Presentation school in Clonmel in 1972/3 and a photo of them both which she sent to me lately! She was such a special person who loved the children in her care. Rest in peace Sally. You will be sadly missed and remembered for your kindness.
