Very sad to hear this news.. Samantha and I shared many a chat and a pint in Harold's Cross. We even did some training together during covid times in the park. My wife Claire and I send our condolences to all of her family. May she rest in peace

I was sorry to hear of Samantha's death. Samantha had called in to visit us in CDHQ only two weeks previously, which I am greatful for now. Samantha had been a committed volunteer for many years serving in our Auxiliary Fire Service section, attending at many emergency and routine duties. Samantha also assisted in looking after the care and maintenance of our vintage Green Goddess fire engine. Making sure it was presented well to the public at events. Samantha served the citizens of Dublin freely and proudly, may Samantha now rest in peace. Sincere condolences to Stephen who also served in Dublin Civil Defence and to all Samantha's family and friends.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Samantha, from the day we first met back in Macaoimh, to Civil Defence and all the rest, you were one hell of a women. Go now and take a well deserved rest.

So sorry for for Sams passing. I didn’t know her personally but she often ate at Flynns Tullow. I do know she lived her life to the happiest in her last years. May she rest in peace.

Sam I will always have fond memories of all of us bundling into your room watching videos and tv whilst the grown ups were downstairs playing darts! Dressing up as father Christmas at the TA. The fireworks parties at the TA and everything army. I know that your big sister Ann will welcome you now you have passed over. She adored her baby brother. Only met Sam/Samantha twice in Waterlillies Tullow. We had coffee and chatted nonsense. But it was the ease by which we sat that made it special both times.

So many fond family memories of growing up; the grey Vauxhall Cavalier, camping holidays, having a video player in the bedroom, fireworks nights at the TA Centre, spending hours polishing the army boots! So many giggles. Best wishes and sincere condolences to all x x
