To Nick , Caoimhe,Caoilfhinn ,the Todd and Cusack families ,sincere sympathy on your loss of your beloved Sandra .I trained with her in Crumlin and she was a wonderful person may her precious soul rest in peace .

I first met Sandra when I was a student on Ladybird and then when I qualified as my preceptor. First impressions, I was a little scared but then I was amazed by this wonderful Nurse, who knew so much and had a twinkle in her eyes and such wit. Sandra you will be missed by so many.
To Sandra’s family and friends, there are no words. I am so sorry for your loss Xx

Sleep softly my friend, with your beautiful twinkly blue eyes and smile. I’ll continue to remember your warmth, compassion, steadfastness, determination, resilience, patience and love especially for your Nick, your girls, family and friends.
I will miss our chats and will think of you often.

We were so sorry to hear of Sandra's illness and prayed for her recovery. May God comfort all bereaved by Sandra's untimely death.

We were very blessed to have Sandra & her sisters Fiona & Oonagh as our first very reliable babysitters. They were young teenagers at the time but mature beyond their years. It was long before mobile phones & we had no house phone either. We never had to worry. They were so capable, they always managed extremely well.

To my friend and right hand woman on Ladybird Ward Sandra,As a senior nurse she supported our dream of a day Ward now called Walrus,and with the help of all the Ladybirds this ward became a reality and is a true testament to Sandra’s commitment as a nurse who really cared about making children’s and families life better, always humble never taking credit for how hard she worked a shoulder to lean on and great family person who really cared, the world is a sadder place without you love to all your family

Dear Sandra, I was so shocked to hear this. I’m sorry that I didn’t know sooner, I would have come down to visit.
Thank you so much for all the years we knew each other- I seem to remember that we first met on RBC in 1996! We had good fun with the Heart Team in Malta, and I will always remember the New Year’s Eve dinner that you invited me to at your house when I moved into the Flat in Linslade!
I’m going to miss you Sandra, your warmth, your lovely blue eyes. You have 2 wonderful girls who will carry your memory with them forever - you made them

I am so very sorry for your heartbreaking loss. I got to know Sandra best when I used to visit Olwen at the student accommodation for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Sandra always struck me as a girl who was comfortable in her own skin. She was unassuming, gentle, funny, intelligent and kind.

I hope you are able to feel Sandra's comforting presence. She is with her Mum now but she is also still with you, just in a different way.

May her beautiful soul rest in peace.
