Condolences to Richard and Moira who gave sandy a lovely ending of his life in The Lodge in Wales.
I think of you almost everyday . From childhood memories through to today.
My Hero my Uncle Sandy.
Teaching me tickling trout; racing pigeons; greyhounds, horses.; the distillery and I could go on. Thank you Sandy. These memories will last forever and after through my daughters.

I first met him on my first visit to Midleton in March 1982, when he brought Noreen Hynes and myself on a tour of the distillery. Sandy was the perfect guide - very knowledgeable but didn't overdo the technical details. May he rest in peace.
