I wish I was well spoken enough to express how much Saoirse meant to so many people, including me. But I'm not that refined and I'm not even sure the words exist so, I'll just say how grateful I am to have been Saoirses friend. I don't know how I got so lucky. I'll miss her today & always. My thoughts are with her partner and family.

Never in my wildest dreams would I imagine I would be writing a message on here about a friend I loved so dearly.

I am so so sorry for your loss. To Saoirse’s beloved nana whom she always spoke about so warmly and fondly. To Jessie,a partner who made Saoirse smile like no other. I have never seen her as happy and in love as when she was with Jessie. To all of her beautiful extended family who cared deeply for her my deepest condolences.

Saoirse was the kind of person who didn’t just light up a room, she set it on fire, with her witty humor, her infectious laughter and her joyous smile. She was the bravest, generous, most daring and intelligent person I have ever known. From the deep philosophical conversations we had to jokes and puns, hugs and flat whites, I wouldn’t be half the person I am without her. She pushed everyone around her to be the best versions of themselves with her unending love, support, kindness.

I will always love and miss her. May she rest in peace, reunited with her mam.

There are not enough words to describe how much of an amazing person Saoirse was. I was privileged to get to know her and become friends with her during our undergraduate degree in Mary I.
