Dear David, Abigail, Evelyn, Ian, Philip, Charlotte and extended Mumford and Hastie families and circle of very loyal friends of Sarah,
We feel so privileged to have got to know Sarah just before her tragic illness and many of you, as well as Sarah, subsequently. Sharing your loss, we send our deepest sympathy to David, Abigail as well as to Sarah’s and David’s families and circle of friends. In the midst of all the suffering and pain God has manifested himself as faithful. Sarah’s trust in him in the midst of her trial was inspiring for us as was David’s parenting and Abigail’s fortitude and sensitivity towards her Mum. May each of us continue to know the presence and comfort of our Heavenly Father that Sarah drew on in the midst of her suffering.

David - really shocked and saddened when I heard the news. I remember you both as giving your friendship as well as your support when in Ripon. I will ever recall Sarah's openness, love of people, welcoming smile and attention ... and in particular her faith. What a beautiful person ... you are in my prayers as assuredly as she is now with her Lord.

Although it's many years now since we had the privilege of spending time with Sarah, we have fond memories of her lively, sparkling personality - and enjoying time with her over meals and coffee. Her illness was a cruel blow which she evidently bore with great courage. An amazing woman - sending our prayers to David & Abigail as they grieve for her.
