Dear Sinead and family we have just heard the very sad news of Sally’s passing. She was part of our very happy childhood memories growing up in Highthorn. She was a warm and lovely woman who always wore the best red lipstick!!

Highthorn Park won’t be the same without Sally. She was a great neighbour, a force of nature, and had such a wicked sense of humour! She made us feel very welcome when we moved in ten years ago. All of us next door will miss Sally a lot. Deep sympathies to John and all the Farrells.

So sorry to read the news is Sally’s passing, many a laugh I had with Sally over the years, she was one lady for using polite words in a situation where she had many a rude person around. Sally you were always a great assistant in Shaws of Dun Laoghaire and such a lovely customer to our store in Quinnsworth/Tesco Dun Laoghaire over the years. Sally may you now go and reunite with your lovely husband John, safe journey beautiful lady Sally RIP.

I grew up in Highthorn Park and always remember Sally as being so full of life and so cheerful and positive. I ofter saw her when i was in Shaws. She was a truly lovely lady. God bless all her family as they mourn her passing 🙏
