So sorry to hear of Seamus' passing and sorry I couldn't attend his send off, as the sad news got to me late in west Cork. You are all in my thoughts during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

So sad to hear on the passing of one of the nicest men in Delgany! An absolute gent, with great humour, kindness and integrity. He was always so smartly dressed, except when tending to his impressive veggie patch! It was a pleasure to be his neighbour for so many years, and his Mum before that. Thinking of you Rita and all the family. So sorry I cant be there at the funeral.

Dear Rita, Samantha and all of your family. I’m so sorry to hear the sad news about Seamus. He was always so pleasant and courteous. Those of us involved in the annual parish golf fundraiser, the Kilquade Cup down through the years always had great craic under Seamus’ guidance. He had such an easy relaxed way of just getting things done and bringing everyone along with him. He will be sadly missed by all of us who had the pleasure of working with him.
