My condolences on the passing of Mr. Lantry to Andrew, Margaret, David and Mrs. Eileen Lantry. My thoughts are with you in a difficult time. May he Rest In Peace
Our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to you Eileen on the passing of Séamus, your beloved and cherished husband. Also to all the extended Lantry family - keeping you in our thoughts and prayers at this very sad and difficult time. May Séamus Rest In eternal Peace.
Dearest Eileen, and all your family
My most heartfelt condolences on the death of Séamus, whom I truly admired and loved. I can only imagine your grief. I cannot put words on it, but feel too a terrible loss. What a warrior, like you, he was. I only learned of his passing from a notice in the Irish Political Review and so, to my great regret, missed his funeral, which I would have loved to attend. I live in Howth and knew others of his family. How I will miss his sharp and ever insightful comments on Irish development.
But most of all, my heart goes out to you Eileen. May you bear the sorrow that now is yours. My feelings are with you.
Love, Philip O'Connor

So sorry for your loss Eileen.Seamus was a true gentleman and his loss will felt by many. Condolences to all his family and friends.
Sincere sympathy to Eileen, John, Eugene and the extended Lantry family on the sad passing of Séamus. May he rest in peace.
My condolences to Andrew, David, Margret and the rest of the Lantry family. I am saddened to read of Seamus’s passing. I have many fond memories of Seamus and my days at Lantry & Co. and I will always be grateful to Seamus for giving me the start to my career straight out secondary school and later, for giving me the courage to avail of an unexpected opportunity to expand my horizons when I became the recipient of a US Green Card from the diversified visa lottery program. At the time, I was nervous and wavering on a decision but after a conversation with Seamus and his encouragement, I mustered the courage to pursue the adventure which I have not regretted. And I took some of his wisdom with me to Silicon Valley and indeed I find it still comes in useful today. And whenever I apply it, I smile to myself and remember Seamus. Starting out as an apprentice, I was initially somewhat intimidated by his towering presence, but over time it became clear to me that he was a gentle intellectual giant, approachable, caring and generous with his advice. And always ready with an anecdote, usually humorous. I’ll always remember the last one he gave to me as I was heading to America – he told me (as it was told to him at the beginning of his career): “the sooner your hair turns gray, the sooner you will be taken seriously as an accountant”. Humorous and sadly true. Rest in peace Mr. Lantry.
I was very sad to hear of Seamus's passing. I met Seamus many years ago with his Kenneally cousins. I have very lovely memories of chats, singing & great story telling.

Many happy memories of Seamus having given me my first job,but the funniest story he told me was at our last meeting a couple of years ago in the Imperial Hotel. Seemingly as a boy in the early 1950’s his father had asked him to bring a dog to England on the boat as an errand. No big deal, all low key until the dog was picked up at the other end by a couple of shady individuals and went on to win the English puppy Derby at a very handsome price. I laughed the whole way home! RIP
Deepest sympathy from David & Jan Tobin ( Australia )

Difficult to be succinct when trying to describe what a truly kind, caring and supportive man Seasmus was. He was an amazing friend to both of my parents during their lives and to my father and I upon my mother's death. A very kind soul who always
showed an incredible generosity of spirit giving his time and care to others. In trying to sum up Seasmus I cannot, but just to say he was an awesome human being. My deepest and profound sympathies Eileen.
