Dear Geraldine, I'm speechless and deeply sad about the bad News. I will always be grateful knowing Shay and beeing friend to him. What a wonderful singer and performer, landlord, organizer, craftsman... Last time, I think two or three years ago in Doolin, he confessed to feel realy homesick about Hanover. Well, a part of him will stay here forever!

Geraldine, so sorry to learn of the sudden death of your beloved Séamus. I enjoy beautiful memories of him in Bolton Street college where we both worked many many years ago. If my memory serves me he was learning to play and you Geraldine had begun your singing career. His sense of humour was infectious and I enjoyed sharing every workday with him because of it. Ruth and I extend our sincere condolences to you and family. Rest in peace Shay and thanks for the laughter and the music.
