I taught with both of you in St. David's in Artane for 10 years, as you yourself know. Séamus welcomed me warmly on my arrival in St. David's in 1975 and called on us when we moved out of the city in 1985 to wish us well for the future.
He was forever a kind, courteous and friendly colleague. We experienced that kindness and thoughtfulness on a number of significant occasions for which we were and are very grateful.

I have fond memories of meeting Seamus after matches in Croke Park in the 1980s along with my brother Mick. Seamus was a true Kilkenny man and a real gentleman!
