Séamus was a character, I worked with him in Fingal Co. Council in the Planning Dept. I used to see him until several years ago at the Dublin International Film Festival. He was a great connoisseur of Films. May he rest in peace.
My sincere sympathy to the Muldoon family on the passing of Seamus. I worked with Seamus in Dublin County Council and Fingal County Council right up until his retirement. He was a great character in the Planning Department. I have so many lovely memories of him - playing highly competitive tennis matches either in St.Annes or in my own club in Sutton ! (the famous games in TCD were before my time ! ); the tips he would give particularly during Cheltenham ( he usually took his holidays then ); all the chat about films . He was always very dapper and had a style of his own - he loved his hats ! A wonderful character and so much fun to work with. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Tennis in Trinity, subtitled movie's and of course pricking winners among the many activities Seamus supervised.
A unique larger than life colleague and friend.

Seamus was my neighbour from 2010 when I moved into 133. He always had a kind word to share with me (which I really appreciated) about his fond memories of my brother Ken (who passed in Dec 2010).
My memories of Seamus include stories he shared with me about his working days in Irish Life, his love of tennis and his happy childhood memories of summers he spent with relatives in the countryside.
Seamus had a style of his own and seemed to appreciate compliments about a particular bowler hat or jacket I would see him wearing.
May you rest peacfully now Seamus.
