I played with Drumkeen United in the mid 2000s, while Seamus managed the Saturday side. It was unquestionably the most fun I ever had playing with a team, largely down to Seamus's happy-go-lucky and infectious personality. We were never in danger of winning a league title (or getting near the opposition's goal), but the training sessions, the away trips around Donegal and the post-match soup and stout were something I looked forward to every week... especially when it was cider-Saturday (or super cider-Sunday).

RIP Seamus, a true gentleman. Your smile will be sorely missed. Thanks for the memories.
