Seamus was a good neighbour of ours. As a P.E. Teacher both in Listowel C.C. and Killarney C.C. he was a very dedicated professional. He encouraged his students to improve their skills at all of the sporting activities in which they participated. He promoted the idea of activity, fitness, good health, accepting the joys of both victory & the disappointment of losing. This was part of their education and training for life.

Seamus opinions was always respected and he was a guiding individual for all of his colleagues He was also a good person to debate the facts and issues on numerous matters.

Rest in Peace Seamus.

My sincerest condolences to Séamus' family. I had the privilege of getting to know Séamus through summer course development, and he played a pivotal role in shaping the path I'm on today. Séamus even wrote a reference letter for my scholarship to complete my Master's in the US. I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.
