Dad travelled to matches for years with Seamus and the gang. I was often with them in my teens listening to their astute hurling analysis, every minute and player dissected. Seamus was some Tipp man for a Laois man, but he never forgot Laois. And what a beautiful singer. Rest in peace Seamus surrounded by the music of angels in Heaven. A group of us joined Limerick Choral Union sometime in the mid eighties and had a marvellous few years of fun and totally dedicated to our music and singing.We brought Handel’s Messiah to Tipperary one Christmas and Seamus sang the tenor solo part.
