Séamus was a kind compassionate and generous person. He gave freely of his time to youth work in The Bosco Youth club in Dunlaghaire and, for over 60 years, he was the ‘go to person ‘in the Glencree Society, a place of close to his heart. I have fond memories of those weekends away in The Grove at Glencree, his ghost stories, midnight walks, hill walking and star gazing bringing a sense of adventure and wonderment for us. He gave us insights into respecting the environment and the local community. I never heard him raise his voice in anger, a quiet, calm person who always had the kind word , encouraging self belief in us ,and respect for others . He has left a legacy in Glencree that will endure .
Thank you Séamus.
May he Rest In Peace .
