Deepest sympathy to you all on the passing of Seamus. Our interaction with him was he wanted a load of timber and was passing on the main road from Woodford to Loughrea and saw John with a load of good timber on the trailer and turned his car and followed him here. The deal was done and John drove the tractor and trailer in early one morning to Dalton place and delivered it. He was so happy to get good firewood and we were invited in to his favourite pub to meet him one Sunday afterwards and had a lovely time. He made such an impression on us both. That’s many years ago, at least 30 but we never forgot him. One nice gentleman. I was writing my Christmas cards today and getting names and addresses out of my address book and saw his name and phone number. God rest his gentle and kind soul.

Deepest sympathy to Vincent and all the O’Gorman family. I met Jimmy first in the Good Counsel College in New Ross in the 40s and played football with him there. Met again when we both settled in Galway…always had good fun. He was one of the nicest guys you could meet. May he rest in peace.

We are so very sorry to hear about Jimmy’s passing. We were best friends in Gaigue National School, sat beside each other in class, played football together and had many happy times in our home in Gaigue. Jimmy stayed in touch, was always great fun and remained a lifelong friend. May he Rest in Peace.

Saddened to hear of Jimmys death. We have fond memories of Jimmy playing with Drumlish, our trips up from Galway with Vincent and Jimmy. What a full forward he was? It was a pleasure to play along side him. Sincere sympathy to Vincent and the O!Gorman family.
