Seamus (Sham) Davis

It was with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of Seamus. It was a privilege to work with him on the Genis Project and both my wife and I will always have fond memories of our time spent with a very special man. RIP Seamus. John & Valerie (Plymouth)

It was Seamus who led the way in youth rugby for our boys, he always encouraged and supported them. Their enjoyment of the game was as a direct result of Seamus's support and the great friends they made were for life and his friendship will never be forgotten. He was a Leader who gave to his community and by taking up the Chairmanship of Drogheda Harbour Board he had exceptional vision and foresight.

I was a classmate and good friend of Sham's at Clongowes and remember him fondly. I regret our paths crossed only once in the many years since we left school in the summer of 1964.
