Rest in power, big man. We spent a lot of time with an arm around each other back in the eighties. The middle of the front row between yourself and Ger (Splash) was probably the safest place on the pitch (and we laughed a lot too). Drive hard in the heavenly scrum.

His loss will be felt by many. It may be little solace to his family now, but his memory will live long in those who shared his passion for the rivers.
