I have very fond memories of Sean in Ballyroan Boys National and Colaiste Eanna. Even in those days Sean was the unofficial school captain. Full of life and always finding a way to endear himself to others, he was an inspiration and great role model. He will be missed and leaves a great void in the community. Our deepest sympathies to his entire family.

I was shocked to hear of Sean’s passing. His vision and enthusiasm ensured success in all his ventures and made Imagine the company it is today. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

A week later I still find it difficult to believe that Seán has left us. For all his well published business achievements during his life, he would openly admit that his biggest achievement, and luckiest break was meeting you Grainne, the love of his life. Carl, Conor, Darragh and Caoimhe, he was so proud of you all, and he loved you all dearly. Vera, Ciaran, Colm, Eoin, Aoibhinn, and all the Bolger, and Bugler Familes, we are so sorry for your cruel and sudden loss.
You all did Seán proud this week, despite the grief you have all suffered, his funeral was a fine and fitting tribute to him, Well done to everyone involved in the celebrations. Even in his demise Seán was pioneering, managing to pack the chuch in Ballyroan for a humanist service.
For now, Seán has gone, but for sure he will never be forgotten, may your fond memories of the many good times you spent together, give you all the strength to cope with the pain of your tragic loss.

I knew Sean in business for over 30 years going back to when he originally set up ITL in Dun Laoghaire. I did not know him in a personal capacity but learnt in the church that his family legacy was the more important part of his life.
RIP Sean.

My condolences to Sean's wife Grainne and family,

I remember well the first time I met Sean.
It was the 1 September 1982 as we queued up at Ringsend to register for our Leaving Cert.

For about 18 months thereafter ,we became firm friends and budding entrepreneurs.
It wasn't long before we hired Club Nassau at Powers Hotel and charged our fellow students to come to our bash. I remember ejecting, with Sean, some unruly characters from the kitchen who thought it would be a good idea to have an ice cream fight....

We remained friends for a few years later and he would come to our bands gigs around town and was always good at collecting the money at the door. A budding entrepreneur from the start...
I spoke to him a few years back and was delighted to see how successful he had become -I never had a doubt-he was driven to succeed from the start.

Dear Sean, I know I will see you again-holding out a pint to me and saying 'lets get the party started....!
