Unfortunately my phone broke and I am only getting this message tonight through an amazing friend Collette back in Ireland who I know held you highly and always made her laugh especially when you arrived in an exuberant outfit lol. It was the last thing I expected to hear. I know I live in America but WOW is all I can say. What a man, what a LEGEND what a GENTLEMAN and above all, What a HUSBAND, I know sean for many years but never heard a man speak about his wife like Sean. Listening to him speak about Orla was like listening to a person speak about there first love. To me that was Sean's first and only love. Then came the GAA and the Guinness or was it vice versa. Sean was a wise man and stayed away from drama but helped as many people along the way as possible. I was in retail and sean always steared me right even if I didn't like it. He was so funny yet always honest and always a gentleman. Nothing was a problem for Sean and he would always give good advice. He was a through gentleman and someone you could tell anything too or trust with anything. Sean although i haven't kept in touch since I moved,, you will be truly missed my friend. A true gentleman. We are sending our sincerest condolences to you Orla and Family. We are shocked and so so saddened by Sean's passing. He was such a lovely and full of life human being. We are at a loss in Kerry without him. Every once in a while you meet a genuine and interesting person here that is different from the rest and like Sean he had just that along with fantastic style, only he could carry. Sean loved his walks and chats but he most of all was interested in getting out to the National park and walking and people spotting. He will always be remembered here in Killarney. May his gentle spirit rest in peace.

We've known Sean for many years since he first came to work in Oggo shirts, where he was a friend to everyone, and since then we would meet at trade shows and around Galway from time to time.

I am deeply saddened today hearing of the death of Sean. I had the pleasure of working with Sean over the years and very much enjoyed the craic, the kindness and the conversations with him. His chat about his Orla when I was about get married was just to loving and beautiful to hear. Sean very kindly gifted us a wedding present which sits proudly in our hall so I think of him more often than he would ever have known although hadn't chatted to him in a few year's now.
