It was with the deepest sorrow that I learned of the passing of my dear friend Seán Buckley,a gentleman and a scholar. Seán leaves behind him a huge legacy from his driving force for the Community Centre in Ballydesmond to his inspiration for the providing a shelter housing scheme also in Ballydesmond not to mention the many house projects he undertook from planning to completion for people that always became his firm friends.Seán had a wide variety of interest from wild life to stonemasonry and from plants to most of all to people especially his beloved family.He with be sorely missed.Rest in peace my dear friend
