It was lovely meeting you Teresa just as we were about to leave the church after the Mass on Christmas Eve. I had expected we would be wishing each other a happy Christmas, and little did I think you were about to tell me that Sean had passed R.I.P. May I again say how sorry I was to hear this sad news, and send my deepest sympathy to you and to Kathleen.
It was through my friendship with you and Kathleen that I came to know your dear brother Sean, and I now fondly recall our little chats on the occasions that I happened to meet him.
I have only now learned of Sean’s association with the Legion of Mary, and so I say: Faoi bhrat na Maighdine Muire go raibh sé.
