Seán Colgan

I was in a local play a good while ago and Seán was the director. I learned so much from him and he was very witty and knowledgeable. Condolenses to the Family.

R. I.P Sean. I have great memories of Sean when we visited him in the school when I worked in Mead day centre with Sr Nuala. He was great with the children, telling them stories and singing songs ,and I've often thought about him as I still sing the songs I learned from him in the playschools I've worked in since then here in Roscommon.

We were so saddened to learn of Seán's passing. It has been many years since we last were in contact but remember him fondly from his time with us in "On Stage" in the John Player Theatre in the 1980's. Those days are etched in our memories. Seán would travel all the way from (to us) exotic Portmarnock to Crumlin for rehearsals. He was always the best of company, good humoured and a fine actor to boot. Our condolences to Pauline and to Seán's extended family on their great loss. May he Rest In Peace.

So very sorry to hear of Sean's passing. Sean was a true gentleman who contributed a great deal to the Community in Portmarnock, especially during his long involvement with the PSLC from the very beginning, serving as Chairman for a number of years. Sean was also a very loyal and supportive member enjoying a regular pint or two with his good friends. Sean will be sadly missed.
