My deepest condolences to Sean's family, friends, and the entire community of Mountrath. Sean was not only a true gentleman, but also a stalwart of the town, someone who embodied the spirit of kindness, service, and selflessness. He was always ready and willing to offer a helping hand, no matter the task or time of day, and that level of dedication is something that will forever be remembered and missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence was a quiet strength, a pillar upon which many leaned in times of need, and he never hesitated to step up when others needed support.

In a world where such qualities are rare, Sean stood out as a man of integrity and compassion, someone who truly cared for the well-being of his community and the people in it. His contributions, whether big or small, made a significant difference to countless lives, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. Yet, while his physical presence may be gone, his legacy of kindness and his spirit of generosity will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of everyone he touched.

During this difficult time, I hope that his family and friends can find some comfort in the wonderful memories they shared with him, and in knowing how deeply he was respected and loved by so many. May Sean's soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him. The impact he made on Mountrath and beyond will never be forgotten.
— Peter ~ Roscrea

Sincere sympathies to Agnes, Jerry and Joe, and all the family, on the sad passing of Seán. A lovely man, I initially remember him working in Hargroves shop where he was dapper, enthusiastic and professional in everything he did. In later years, whenever passing through the town, I would be disappointed if I didn't see Seán out and about on his various errands or chatting with people - he was like the unofficial ambassador of the town of Mountrath! A true gentleman and will be sadly missed. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis. Tony and Miriam
