May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with strength, faith and the hope that we will see Sean once again face to face where there will be no more death or sorrow or crying. I was deeply touched by the beautiful and heartfelt tributes to Sean’s life at the requiem Mass this morning and Monsignor Ryan’s reassurance that our relationship with Sean is not ended but just changed for the time being – Sean’s kind and gentle unassuming presence will always remain with us – death no longer has the last word, but our faith in Christ’s resurrection does! I’m very grateful to have reconnected with Sean and his family in Boston last Christmas - it was as if the many years gone by quickly faded away and we were chatting like on the Yellow Road again, so down to earth was Sean. May Sean rest in peace with God and his large family up there!
