Sean Doyle

Sincere sympathy to the Doyle family and Gretti on the sad passing of Sean. It was a great shock to hear of his passing. He was a great neighbour and friend and he is sadly missed in Elmvale. He was always so helpful and kind and someone you could depend on if you needed assistance. He has been my neighbour while I've lived in Elmvale and it saddens me to see his empty house and I miss our daily chats. May he rest in peace.

I had the great pleasure having Sean as my lecturer in my time at CIT in the early 90's. I found Sean to be a gentleman and a great lecturer. His classes has moulded me and many to have had him, into the Engineer I am to today. I had met him some time back and had a brief chat. He was always very much interested in how his students got on. When I told him of the project over seas I was on, I could see that he was proud. RIP Sean. A true Gentleman

The children of Elmvale called to me last week and asked could they go to see Seán. They played soccer in the patch of ground adjacent to his house. He always chatted to them, knew them all by name and took an interest in them. I invited them in and told them that Seán was very ill and doctors said family only. He was so kind and understanding when they kicked the ball into his beautiful garden. A great sign of a gentleman. Freddie is waiting for you to bring his ice cream. Sean was a wonderful neighbour for 40 years.
