I just heard this morning about Sean, very sad. Many a Friday/Saturday night we would stand huddled in a circle trying to hear what each person was saying in Nesbits ,blocking anyone trying to get by lol lol. You were always there Sean. Great company great conversation and great laughter.

Sean was a great friend when I was a boy in iinvhicoreand nearly got us thrown out ofbutlins for singing to much

I knew Sean from the Services Department and he moved to the Hangars. He fitted my first central heating system at my home. The installation was a nightmare because I had the original house that Jack built, with pipe work from the ark. Sean did the job with good humour through the difficulties. I didn’t get to play golf with Sean despite a number of attempts. I wish Grainne and Sean’s family my sincere condolences on their loss.

So sad to hear of Sean's passing. We played football together in the 70s with Submarine Athletic. We had some great times. What a character,you will be fondly remembered. Rest in peace Scruffer 🙏♥️

Really sad to hear of the passing of Sean or as he was known to the lads around Goldenbridge Terrace as “Scruffer”. We played football together and went on holidays together and had some great laughs as teenagers growing up in Inchicore. What a character!!!! No doubt he’s up in the Big Fleadh in the sky playing music.

Sean was some character, we had some laughs down the years in Doheny's among many other watering holes in Dublin, not to mention the later night venues that Sean enjoyed. Then we followed him to Greece for more fun, he was almost the owner of both the Drafaki Hotel and the Scandinavian Bar in Mykonos and was the unofficial Mayor there. You were guaranteed a night to remember when out with Sean. I hope you are cruising down Copperhead Road in your beloved BMW towards Sweet Home Alabama where the Jemmy's and Irish Coffees never run out. Slan Abhaile Sean.
