My condolences to Gerard, Mary and extended family n the sad passing of Sean. My earliest memory of knowing Sean was the annual trip to the Fahy’s for our Christmas tree, special time as a child, RIP
Deepest sympathy to the Fahy family on the death of Seán. He made such a contribution to hurling in Galway, not least with all the All-Ireland successes he had at U-21 level. I had the pleasure of being on the victorious U-21 squad in 1986 when he again showed a great willingness to select players from the smaller clubs. We used to travel to training in a car which aside from having a Liam Mellows lad on board, also had hurlers from Salthill, Mervue and Renmore. Seán didn't care where you came from as long as you contributed. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Dungarvan Gaa is saddened to hear of Sean's death, a loyal gael who was the leading light in Tommy Larkins when the club hosted us and treated us so well for the 1980 National Feile Hurling FInals. Great memories from over 40 years ago. Sincere sympathy to all of Sean's family on your loss.

My siencere condolences to Gerard and Mary on the sad passing of the their dad Sean. I had the pleasure of being the coach of Sean's Galway under 21 team in 82, 83, and 84. Sean was their brilliant manager. While we had heartbreak in 82 loosing to Cork by a point in the all Ireland final, we beat Tipp in the all Ireland final in 83. He was a wonderful man, so kind and gentle but when needed he had a streak of steel. He loved his hurling, and his club. Sean thanks for the memories. You're gone but will never be forgotten. Rest in peace.
